This is a series of fifteen flies found in William Blacker's 1855 book The Art of Fly Making. This series can be purchased as a complete collection (to see how it will be framed click here), or as individual flies tied on 5/0 or 7/0 hooks and mounted in the appropriate frame (to see the frames click here). The names of the flies below are the ones used in the book itself. Two of the flies are listed as "Unnamed" as they were not named in the book.

Blue Chatterer - Kingfisher
Indian Crow - Dyed Ringneck Pheasant White neck feather
Note: In the listings below if a fly does not have a "substitute" price that means all the materials used in that pattern are readily available and are "genuine".
Chatterer and Indian Crow are extremely hard to obtain so please check with me before ordering flies with authentic materials.
